Three Cents

When a business graduate, a marketeer, an economist and a computer scientist met in a bar, a collaboration of ideas and dreams turned into the brand Three Cents.

The creation of artisanal drinks with natural ingredients and no artificial flavours or preservatives was their aim. Noticing a gap in the market they created a product that could balance the ingredients of a cocktail or a long drink while bringing out its flavours and aromas, whilst still maintaining its fizz.

They were fascinated by the soda bars that grew in the time of the Great Depression. During that period soda fountains created soft drinks based on carbonated water as it was the cheapest drink anyone could ever get for two cents and was therefore called Two Cents Plain. When syrup was added to that drink to enhance its flavour, its price increased to three cents, hence the inspiration for the Three Cents brand.
