Kleine Zalze Merlot - Merlot is fast growing in popularity in terms of vineyard plantings in South Africa; this example uses fruit from vineyards close to the winery. Part of the blend is matured in French oak barrels for six months, the balance held in stainless steel vats. A wine with ripe blackcurrant fruit and typical soft, juicy tannins.
